These terms cover your use of kauban.com.au. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use it.

1. Who we are

Kauban (ABN 19 201 154 219) is a business name registered to an Australian sole trader. In these terms, "Kauban", "we", "us" and "our" mean that business. The registered holder's details can be confirmed through the Australian Business Register at abr.business.gov.au.

2. What this website is

This site describes our staffing and administrative support services and lets you make an enquiry or book a call. It is marketing and information. It is not an offer capable of acceptance, and using it does not create any engagement between us.

3. No advice

Nothing on this site is financial, legal, tax or professional advice, and it does not take your circumstances into account. We do not provide financial product advice and we do not hold an Australian Financial Services Licence.

Any general information here is a starting point for a conversation, not a substitute for advice from someone qualified and engaged to give it.

4. Pricing and engagements

Prices shown on this site are indicative. The final rate for any role depends on its requirements, the skill level involved and the hours engaged. We will confirm the actual price in writing before anything starts.

These terms do not govern a staffing engagement. If you engage us, a separate services agreement applies. Where that agreement and these terms differ, the services agreement prevails. Notice periods, replacement arrangements, confidentiality, data handling and liability between us all live in that document, not here.

5. Using this site

You may use this site for your own business purposes and to contact us. You must not:

Use it for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaches anyone else's rights
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, or interfere with how it works
Scrape, harvest or systematically extract content from it
Submit false information, or use our enquiry form to send unsolicited marketing

6. Our content

The content of this site, including text, layout, design and the Kauban name and logo, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may read it, print it and share links to it. You may not copy, republish or use it commercially without our written consent.

7. Links and third parties

This site uses Google Fonts to serve typefaces, and Calendly on the contact page for bookings. Where we link to another site or embed a third party tool, we do not control it and we are not responsible for its content, its availability or how it handles your information. Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of them.

8. Accuracy and availability

We try to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not guarantee it is free of errors or omissions, and content may be out of date by the time you read it. We do not guarantee the site will always be available or uninterrupted.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Those rights come first, whatever else these terms say.

Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or from reliance on anything in it, including indirect or consequential loss.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms. It covers what we collect, who we disclose it to, and the fact that our personnel are located in the Philippines.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State and the Commonwealth.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top reflects the most recent change, and the current version is always on this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
